Words from an RT80 Rider
Nice to see things picking up, lots of new photos plus three entries to the
Road Diary in two days! I was wondering about the "discount" from $200 to
$40, now I know! It pays to read some books and learn from other's
experiences. I also notice that the Bike Drop rate has diminished
exponentially in the last couple of weeks. Set a goal to keep it under 20
total, least you may not have any Frankenstein left. From the same
reference I got the fake wallet, there are several mentions about
on-the-road local fix-it shops doing "creative" repairs to panniers, forks,
tires, etc., for very short money. Do not underestimate the value of
ingenuity when there is a need, and a lot of those repair guys fix things
without many spare parts, using whatever they got at hand, sort of how I do
it! One week before December and still riding the RT80! Looking forward
to Valentine's Day in Rio! No news from Panama yet! Much Love. Take good
care.

Hey there brother. if you are in honduras, please contact my good friend the Ambassador, Larry Palmer. Please do this and mention my name! We are missing you and looking forward to your arrival in Ecuador. The weekend of the 5th of December is really shaping up and we are on target for some wonderful events.
