Light up my life
The day after Thanksgiving is one of my favorites of the entire year. Well, today is the day after, but being as I am in a Panamanian hotel lobby typing this message on the receptionists borrowed machine, things are a little different that usual.

It is 8am back in Milton and I am certain Santiago is getting the itch to roll out of bed, eat some leftover bird and start The Lights. The Lights, this is an event, celebration and exersice of the Rozas' nature in its full, over-the-top glory.

Hanging the Christmas lights has always been a process. And not unlike the bonfires at the beach each 4th of July, the process seems to grow bigger and more complicated each year.

"We can go higher.
"Definetly, I say we try it!"

Well, my heart and mind is with you, intrepid rope and ladder bearers, as you scale the walls of the house. Do me proud...I am sure the decorations will still be up in the Spring for me to take down, so I don´t feel too bad.

Drink some spiked cider for me, and if you are not sure if you can get to the next tier of the house with the bundle of lights on your shoulder let me tell you once again...¨Definetly, gotta try!"

Be safe!--X

Drink some spiked cider for me guys, and if you are not sure if you can get to the next tier of the house with the bundle of lights on your shoulder let me tell you once again...¨Definitly, gotta try!"
