If you were wondering why the site has not been updated for the past couple of weeks here is your answer...I have been on a secret mission into the heart of Columbia and did not want to alarm my people at home.

I guess I could have posted my thoughts on other things that occupy my mind while away from home...Muslim bathroom etiquet, ideas for pop-up books, mechanical bulls, etc, but I figured the Road Log should maintain its travel story format for the sake of coherence.

I just wanted to post a quick entry here to let the readers know I have not disappeared into the South American jungle, but am finishing up my Log for the Columbian leg of my journey...Lots to tell, even more that I will not go into for obvious reasons!
